If they could get seinfeld, curb and koth on one stream I would a)not have to subscribe for anything else and b) never go outside.foomanfat wrote:Can we all agree that the real streaming arms race is who will shell out to get King Of The Hill online again?

The Good Place is very underrated. Excellent show with great twists!

Yeah it's filling the P&R/30rock/Kimmy Schmidt gap in my world. It's weird, it reminds me of douglas adams in its wacky surreal imagery even though the dialogue is very much in the vein of those other comedies I mentioned.

I love that show more than anyone should love a show.

I'm tentative about praising an old white guy actor right now but Ted Danson is a treasure and the more things I see him in, the better

The good place is so good. At first I was mildly pleased but the more I watched the more impressed I am. It's just another quirky wacky comedy show, but it's a very good one.

I liked it but it's gotten really slow.coldbrightsunlight wrote:The good place is so good. At first I was mildly pleased but the more I watched the more impressed I am. It's just another quirky wacky comedy show, but it's a very good one.
It's like, after S1, the writers didn't know what to do and they're just trying to stretch it out as much as they can.

SPOILER : show

Just like eternity.
I'm sure you're right, but they're doing such bizarre stuff that I never have any idea what's going to happen next.

Maybe the last few of episodes have been a bit slower, but I thought the second season took off out of the gate.

That's a good point.Invisible Man wrote:Just like eternity.
I keep wondering if there's supposed to be an end goal or if they're trying to show a perspective of, "so, this eternity thing gets fucking boring and shit will probably just spiral".

Rewatching all of X-Files, starting with the pilot, don't think I've ever done it end to end before. Almost through season 1. I have no life.

Fox is my hero. Seriously considering getting some fanart tatted on me.
