Just finished going through all the futurama episodes I missed by not having TV, so I'll give it a go!
And I have to finish whatsitcalled high.
And then download Jonah.
I must fill the hole Ragnar headbutted into my heart.

Seems like a reasonable course of action. I think the first season or two are on Netflix.

Jonah was great, just 6 episodes. He says such crazy stuff, always calling people homos and dickheads, I love it. It's got heart and sad times too, Chris Lilley makes pretty special and cool tv.
I'm embarrassed to say I've never seen an episode of the Boondocks.. always meaning to check it out and just never have.
I found something on YouTube I like to watch lately.. debates. 2 and a half hour structured debates on science and religion and stuff like that, frig YouTube is full of entertainment.
Also, YouTube has been teaching me to program Arduinos, teaching me C++ code.. I'm going to YouTubeU!

Me and the wife are sad now that Vikings has finished for the year.
Season finale was all kinds of awesome.
That show has really grown on me. I think Ragnar may be the most badass dude on TV right now.
There's always GoT to fall back on now I guess!

Ragnar is the new King of Badass.
Callum Bohannon was owning that title until the writing on Hell on Wheels started choking on dead whale dicks.

Seriously. I can't even remember the last TV character who's even come close to his badassness.
So Penny Dreadful wasn't bad. Sort of like a mashup of victorian gothic with some gun slingin. And lots of dead dicks.

The Boondocks is so right up your alley I don't know what to do about it. You should definitely check it out.

That sounds fairly appealing...dead dicks and all.

Resurrecting this thread to talk about 2 things:
1- The Strain. Guillermo del Toro vampire horror. Sign me up. 2 episodes in and its got my attention.
2- The Leftovers. Weird psychological thriller drama sci fi something. 2% (i think) of the worlds population vanishes into thin air. Remaining people all go a little nutty. Cults spring up. Weird surreal visions abound. Feral dogs roam the town. I dont even know what is happening.

All of these things, except I don't know what Shameless is.

I would recommend starting from the beginning of the original UK production of shamesless. It looks at the lives of Scottish families on welfare and is almost the funniest and most bleak shit ever.

Is it actually good? I was super pumped when I saw the trailer because I thought it was a movie - I need to check it out, but had my reservations about a series being funny for very long.
Of course it IS Aaron McGruder, so I really should give him the benefit of the doubt...
