It's a telltale sign of someone who has been tragically hurt through life and just trying to get any and all attention they can. Negative attention is just as good as positive. I've known a few people like this, including my own sister sadly. I can't believe she actually feels the way she talks. It's just silly.
Now I'm not saying that all should be forgiven and forgotten obviously. I'm saying, we ought to focus here on why she does not deserve to be a part of this industry. There are so many bat shit crazy builders out there that it's daunting sometimes. If I had a dollars for every time I ran into one, well I'd have a few dollars. LOL. A lot of pretentiousness, self importance and my shit don't stink attitudes. It's very weird. Kind of like kids in a High School.
There are a lot of pros though. Thank God. I get to work with some.
But I've work with the crazies as well.
So what I'm saying is. Devi the person probably does have good qualities buried in her. I think all people do. Devi the builder, should not exist. Not now, and probably not ever. I think it's a toxic thing for her and her fans. Misery loves company though.
I've also known people who act like this. My ex-girlfriend for one. She did a colossal amount of heinous things to me and ended up getting expelled from college for it last year. But at this point, I'm not exactly angry at her. I feel bad for her. Fueling this fire won't help things, and regardless, interacting/provoking Devi isn't helping her or anyone here. Any pronouns used to discuss her gender other than the ones she has identified as she most definitely not be used, super uncool.
But yeah. Shit is wack.

The pronoun issue can be a very sticky wicket Not only because of the general disagreement (like if gendered pronouns are themselves promoting genderism, what gender neutral pronouns are acceptable, etc), but specifically in Devi's case because Devi is wildly inconsistent with gender identity. In the past month Devi has disavowed trans and woman labels, but has also self-applied those labels.
Devi has, at points requested the use of "friend" as personal pronoun among other things

To be safe, never refer to Devi as a pronoun. Always use Devi's proper name, Devi. This way Devi can't get upset that you're calling Devi by the wrong gender. And no matter what Devi's preference is that day, Devi can't be offended.

Oh, you meant pedals. There were pics of a breadboard with some alleged new circuit, but there was a shit ton of planning stuff on the Console as well. Smart money is that the answer is "no."

Quick weigh-in, NEVER say anything negative about Devi's gender identity, guys.
That's a low blow and transphobia is not cool here or elsewhere.
I have trans friends and they really sorta hate "the t-word."
She could be Hitler but her being trans is not one of the things about her that is a problem, and if you think that it is,
you're the problem.
This having been said I have not seen a lot of that on ILF so kudos, let's keep doing what we do
