I just happen to fall into the former category, not the latter.

I have seen it. I picked it up on vhs at a closing video store because I liked the lighting on the images of the back of the vhs. I absolutely love italian horror, especially slashers, and eyes of a stranger turned out to be an underrated american slasher. It just seems a bit obscure in the scheme of movies, but I guess you are seasoned in obscure movies, in general

Hmm, Suspiria is my favorite movie because of the general atmosphere of dread, innocence, and sinister undertones that permeate each and every camera movement. Movies I like in that genre are, don't torture a duckling, Inferno, Opera, but I'm assuming you have seen most of those. Which brings me to this american horror release...maybe...
