I know right.
She is big into Egyptology or at least was at one point in time,...the whole Flower of Life thing (I'm into the FOL as well). Somewhere along the line she heard that Honey was part of the mummification process and decided that honey was a powerful enough perservativbe that she wanted to be IDK I guess buried in it. I take it with a grain of salt though.
She also digs bees and I could honestly see myself getting into apiary.
To give you an idea of who we are dealing with this is my wife (do I regret posting these?).

I think we paid $150 for a "box",...somewhere around 10,000 bees. Amelia (my wife) and one of her friends made the initial investment and the friend had a friend with boxes, the extraction equipment etc. etc.
We were probably the least involved,...but wound up with about 5 gallons of honey.
I'm not sure if we still have a spot for the hive anymore though,...there was a little bit of a falling out between my wife and her friend.
