new guy
Hi everyone. I'm new.
My name is Steven. I'm a college student in Arkansas.
I'm too broke to afford any music gear whatsoever and it's been driving me insane for about six years now. But I can dream, can't I? And the internet is where I tend to go when I dream. During one dream I wound up here and I felt good about that. So i think i might try sticking around, that is if you'll all have me. Mr. Devi, your devices are magnificent. Peace be with you all.

Hey, Steven! As a suggestion, try pawn shops. Sometimes people hock their gear for beer money and never come back for it, especially in a college town. It won't necessarily be in the best condition, but it will at least give you something to play with until graduation.

I'm Steve. I'm a science teacher in Scotland. (Kids I teach are ages 4-11).
I play in several bands, all in various stages of development.
Broken Oathis my main band atm. Pretty straight forward hardcore/metalcore.
Also recently started Raiju. But we've written new stuff since then and its getting slower and bigger!! Like Cult of Luna/Skycamefalling/Red Sparowes/Iron Monkey mixed together.
Got another band - Old school punk/hardcore called Square Go! (Scottish slang for A fight).
Gear wise i use a Fernandes Monterey, Fernandes Ravelle, A Maverick F1 with Bill Lawrence bridge p/up. A Peavey 5150. And a handmade 2x12" with a couple of Vintage 30s in it.
I like to rock!

I didnt realize this thread was to actually introduce yourself til about a week back. Seeing as how i've been on this forum for 5 or 6 months, I feel kinda dumb.
I'm tyler, shoegazing post-rocker from Annapolis, Maryland. Its pretty during the spring/summer here. And yes, the chesapeake bay is disgusting.
I play bass in my band A Garden Overgrown, but the few people who've actually seen our stuff say I play my bass like a guitar. I love fuzz and overdrive, especially in combination with delay. I use it a lot, and I rarely ever play single notes. Devi's pedals have helped me create musical fuzzy bliss of epic proportion. Right now I have a SSM, OK, SC and my YOTR should be here tomorrowish. I've also used DN, VF and TP aswell and have nothing but good things to say.

Hi, I'm moonote and I am a noise addict.
Musically I'm into raw, primitive music- garage punk, avant & free Jazz, noise bands and post punk.
My only E13 pedal, so far, is a TBD
To go along with my love of primitive music, I have a love of primitive music equipment (yeah, not really a "tone" guy). I currently run a Sears Silvertone solid state 100 head through a 2 X 12 Earth cab. Pedals- original Fender Blender, a purple Ross phaser/distortion, one of those pink-ish Ibanez analog delays, an orange-ish feedbacker/distortion, a DOD blue sample/delay, a Mid-Fi Glitch Computer and a Total Audio Annihilator (I think I'm missing a few). Guitar wise I have a bunch of Teiscos, A Hayman 30/30, A Jazz Master,a Jagmaster and a nice Aria SG copy. I also have a guitaorgan! I have a number of garage rock style keyboards- a Cordavox, Farfisa and an Ace Tone and a bunch of old rythm machines.
There are pics of my guitars and effects on my MySpace page:

Oh.
Hello, I'm what they call a "PumpkinPieces." As you can probably guess I'm quite the Smashing Pumpkins geek, and by the looks of the pedal Rocket i have a feeling this place will be quite the comfy home.
Although I don't own any fancy devi pedals yet, I'm quite looking forward to my first purchase. But besides that here's some basic and somewhat necessary info about myself:
I'm in a nifty grunge/alt band called The Toadstools
My favorite bands other than smashing pumpkins are nirvana and the vines.
Fuzz makes me smile.
Just like chocolate milk...
Anywho, you'll see me around here hopefully,
later.
