A few minutes before midnight in Germany, but I managed to do today’s demo video! Again a legendary and rare pedal. It seems like it’s the third video of this pedal at YouTube (and the first proper one!).

Re: Pepe's pedal demo Advent calendar
Christmas preparations don't leave much time for recording, etc. So there will be no new video tonight and tomorrow. But I have a very nice video left for the 24th.

Merry Christmas! How exciting
Man, at the end with the rhodes... That's the sound! I had heard some EP on albums and couldn't just figure out what model it was cause the bells had way different harmonics but this is it!

A big thanks go to you, qersty, because you told me to try the pedal with a Rhodes piano sound!

Whoa, I don't think I've ever seen that one demo'd - fairly subtle on guitar - neat on El P....

Re: Pepe's pedal demo Advent calendar
So now it's the 25th in Germany. Merry Christmas to you all!
I hope you had some fun with my calendar idea. The four remaining doors are going to swing open in the next weeks. I cannot promise how soon that may be, because our fourth child is going to be born any day now. I had loved to complete the full set, but there have been so many stumbling blocks while making those 20 videos that I'm really happy for having been able to present more than the 16 promised demos.
Thank you for your support and have a great time with your dear ones.

Re: Pepe's pedal demo Advent calendar
Thank you! It was indeed a lot of work. And I'm thankful that my nine month pregnant wife was so kind to take the kids to the playxground all the time when I did the amp recordings.
I tested the SP-1 against a BOSS PQ-4. It doesn't do the resonant job in the same way as the SP-1. The only other pedal that I had (but sold years ago) was the KORG PEQ-1 which has an additional Q ("Bandwidth") control. I think that this one is the deluxe version of the SP-1, but: Shush! Do not tell anyone!
I really love the OD-2R. Especially for organ and synthesizer. It does also sound great after my BOSS RV-5 Reverb. Especially with an analog synth before the RV-5.
