there was a little mess up, well not really a mess up. i had a head scratching moment because the amp design was acting unstable. but it was an old battery. i mean, it had plenty of juice like a brand new battery, but it had been sitting in package for a few years. at least thats my guess. it was distorting weirdly on all settings. on one setting it was wolf computering. which was actually kind of cool, but anywho i got fresh stock of batteries and the design is stable after all. they are on the way out

Thanks. I suppose I should mention the recording setup:

Dr. Z Maz 18 4 ohm 2x12 (G30H12 and Greenback) used as a cabinet > SM57 and Audix D3 one on each speaker respectively > Profire 610 > Sonar 8.52

No effects or EQ added. Just maximized volume level and panned the mics around 45% to either side.

Guitar was a 1999 Mexican Telecaster with stock pickups.


I have a demo video of the Binary Wolf to put together once I figure out this video editing/youtube crap.

This time I'm using the Stamp Amp as an overdrive into a Dr. Z Maz 18 R (2x12): Same mic setup and placement as before. I did, however, use a Weber Mass Lite to dial down the volume of the amp this time as I have the preamp pretty much cranked up for this one (and the master not that low) and it's a loud amp.

I'm pretty sure this was also with my telecaster but it might be my strat. I can't remember now as I recorded it a few days ago. Either way, definitely single coils.

Hey, guys. I apologize to the people who havent yet recieved their stamp. I am a bad estimator. I say I am going to be able to ship them by or on a certain date, and then I miss the deadline, and think, oh hey I can just get it tomorrow. And then I dont. I had a very busy holiday, because to make sure I make enough money I take a seasonal job. At the mall. Its not bad, but a couple other people who were hired this year were a bit flaky, and I had to cover quite a few shifts when I wasnt planning on having too.
Anyways, NEVER again. Expect your stamps soon with an extra little bit to make up for it.
