OMG ingrown toenails by a long shot! Those can really jack up your day. I've only been prescribed antibiotics once in my life and it was for an ingrown toe nail that got infected. Bad news... my toes was basically making Sunny Delight.
I got another one once after walking on the pebble beach in Brighton (no hate towards Brighton... I REALLY liked it there... I also recently re-watched QUADROPHENIA!).
Truth be told, once I stopped 'cutting my toe nails' ingrown nails stop. This is going to seem real gross to everyone but I basically let them grow until they break. Sometimes I peel them off (My Dad does this... I clearly got it from him... gross).

sorry to be predictable but that is gross
Ingrown toenails are way worse than fingernails though you're right on that

Oh it's terrible. No one should have to live this way. Not good.

i have had a lot of ingrown toenail problems and, if you've got propensity, keeping them longer than you'd probably like is pretty much the only way (other than the thing where they kill of part of the nail bed so the problem part of the nail just doesn't grow anymore [which i have had])

Keeping them long works, the other thing I’ve found that works is meticulously grooming them. Keeping them short, not too short, and filing the middle of the top of the nail works.
But I’ve fallen into the trap everyone else has: leaving them a little too long

They don't rip my socks or anything... and I don't buy expensive socks. The thing where I am an absolute pig is when I peel them and just leave them on the floor. When I vacuum up (once a week) I can't help but think "Oh thank goodness no one visits... this is truly terrible."

My first stint with an ingrown toe nail I just wanted them to remove it. Soaking is also helpful. Keep them soft.
I'm not going to lie... this doesn't happen often but... mine still can get cranky from time to time. Nothing beats the incident of 2010 at the Pebble Beach though... I shudder.

Maybe you could cut them not super short? I mostly rip them off as well to be honest

WELL THEN!!! Don't you judge me Brands!
You may as well be telling me to stop watching shark movies! I know what you're up to!
JK, good to hear from you. Missed you bro

I saw you were in NYC a while back. We should have met up and peeled each other's toe nails... LIKE MEN!

WHICH IS WORSE:
Standing in line or waiting for your number to be called?
Dying young or living forever?
foraging for food/shelter or working in an office?
sashimi style chicken or canned chicken?

in line: when waiting for your number you can sit down.
young: there's lots that can happen as you age, and some of it's even good.
foraging: it's a 24/7 proposition that'll like as not still leave you hungry.
sashimi: you'd have to be daft to eat raw chicken.

A lot happening here with things and feet. Toe nail trouble. No beuno.
Pretty gross. You've been warned.

The animal version of the above (Cow with infected hoof). Had no idea this was a thing. It's gross. You've been warned.

So keeping to the theme of the thread... which is worse?
Jesus H Baldheaded Christ... I had no idea this was a thing (Same as the above. Cow with infected hoof) and I think I've officially hit rock bottom...
Very gross. Very confusing. Not sure what to feel. You've been warned.

These are the greatest things that ever happened to me. Interpret that as you will. I'm learning, the cows/bulls get treated, this guy teaches. All good things must a first where hideous masks or some shit? I'm quoting that from a quote that Val Kilmer was quoting playing Jim Morrison in a film Jim Morrison made in the movie THE DOORS (which was about Jim Morrison), where he was quoting some dickhead.
Point being... the bull's foot had some stones in it.

EDIT: If you want an interesting evening... put on some 2008-2010'ish "Chill Wave"... and put these videos on mute. It's oddly cathartic and feels like this was "supposed to happen".

Having grown up in a rural area where I frequently worked on farms, this incites a type of nostalgia that I don’t like.

No Jury Duty tomorrow... instead of being productive I will be watching a concerning amount of cow hoof and bull hoof videos... I may not come out the same person...
