I honestly find that guy so insufferable online I wouldn’t even consider buying his product.

I'm still partial to the usual Boss trifecta.

HM-2, HM-3, MZ-2

Fab Tone's place got pushed by the HM-3.

Going to post this in the pedalboard thread but thought it could do well with a snap here too.....

I just wanted to pop in and say how proud I am of you for having that board.

On another note...

In a marginal defense, I found him to be a nice person when not communicating with the masses (such is usually the case)... that said, his concept of "time" is a lot different from mine. When you say 4-6 weeks and I get the pedals over 12 months later... one of us is wrong about something (Unless I have dementia and no one told me? :?:  )

Not to mention, you can get very nearly all his pedals second hand for (I'm not exaggerating) anywhere from 40-60% off the price, as opposed to if you buy direct from him. I have a Troll slayer and LHW Deluxe (both of which were acquired for below 60% of the asking price) and they are INSANELY HIGH GAIN.

Also, the whole "you need an isolated power supply" kind of irks me. A lot of builders (eh... I know 2 tbh) are actually building around 1-spots and daisy chains. MY PEDAL ONLY DOES IT'S MAGIC IF YOU USE ISOLATED POWER SUPPLIES!!! seems silly to me.

I'm just talking shit though. The NUX Metal Core is also pretty rude.

Magick Satanic death smoke must be isolated from the sordid emanations of those about to be sacrificed.

This is the second reason I’m wary - too many flippers indicate.... well that it’s not worth keeping!!

Honestly when the hype around a Waza HM-2 was happening he seemed to be everywhere on social media commenting “hey just buy a left hand wrath” I was like wow dude just fucking chill the fuck out!!! You’ve cloned a pedal not reinvented the fucking wheel!!

All. The. Gain.
The concept of gain is something we often take for granted, and rarely do we stop to think about what the term actually means. In many ways, gain has been given a bad name; mankind has been tricked into believing such blatant nonsense as “less is more”, and other sophomoric terms like “transparent” or “authentic” are better. EYEMASTER brings back elemental, primordial gain – the kind of raw gain by which empires are either built or shattered!

It's so good..........although I am a bit tired of "built like a tank"
Just re-reading this thread..... sir you are brilliant!!!

I’ve never considered that one! Truth be told I just picked up a used Metal Zone (see picture above - I was buying a Death Metal and he threw it in for an extra $20) and I’m really into it. I love the 3 band EQ of the DOD but I’m loving the four band EQ of the metal zone! I’m a fan!!

I've been close to picking up the Digital Metalizer quite a few times. There's just something really appealing with it.

Fuck yeah me too. I feel like it would really add a weird edge to my “sound”.

Can confirm, buzzsaw qualities abound, with a boost. It's pretty savage
