I think we should have one as a backup for the day ILF dies, but at the same time don't want one cause I want people to post here and keep this place alive. Speaking of, is there a mobile app that works well with ILF?

I've got email addresses for a lot of folks so if ILF does go down, I can set up a Discord and invite people.
The unfortunate thing about Discord is that it's not publicly searchable. It would be a shame to lose a lot of the historical information here. I'm still mad about the stuff we lost when Devi nuked the place.

Yea, that won't save lot of cool infos and spam if ILF dies. Better to see how to secure stable hosting and forum backups, and add Discord as additional cool thing

I feel the vibe on the notion that if there was a discord it'd detract from the forum... on the other hand, the DM system here is pretty clunky which always makes me feel when it's ILFmas or Okta time and private messages are useful. Discord would be much smoother in that regard.

Call me dumb here but isn't there a way of keeping most (all?) of the guts of ILF but just give it a face lift, as in an improved dm system, if needed?
