Oddly on my pedalboards I have general purpose delays. Timeline & DM-2 on guitar and a H9 on my bass board. Favorite that I own would be my Count To 5. I wish I could find a Seppuku FX ic water.

If I had to pick one, it would be the original pigtronix echolution

Pearl AD-08. Simple, beautifully dialled, and Darker Than The Bat. One day I will pluck up the courage to convert the output scheme from the factory dry and wet/dry to fx loop TRRS and wet/dry but my chops aren't yet good enough to risk my irreplaceable(?) 80s original. NP

I haven't found my true love delay yet
I go on dates but the chemistry never lasts. Breaking up with one in the BST right now. Maybe it's me?

Is having an Echolution 2 UP, CT5, Outward, Echo Degrader, and Deluxe Memory Boy on one board overkill....?

Nope. Extra credit/validation if you post some trax
@vidret - Glad you like the Deluxe Pitch Pirate. One of the few Mid-Fi I have not owned. Which leads me to - my favorite delay - the updated Clari(not)

I have an EP coming out that uses only my Music Easel with Rat, CT5, Outward, Echo Degrader, E2UP, and two ditto x2. I'll post it up when it's finished in the next few days!
It's a drone thing. But it sounds relatively okay. Delay is GOAT effect.

I'm talking about the newer one with the feedback knob. It can function as a really nice slap back delay or echo. Then pending your playing (envelope control) it gets out of whack. Wonderful pedal!

I feel inclined to add another superlative. "Favorite use of a delay pedal that you don't own?" That goes to the guitarist of MINUS THE BEAR. A friend took me to a show (I don't think I've ever listened to that band on my own accord) and that guy rips on the DL4's. It was a great show!

I remember watching his rig rundown years ago and being SUPER impressed with his DL4 usage....
...I still haven't listened to their music....

If you do, Menos el Oso and Planet of Ice are definitely the two best albums. They got real poppy in a bad way after those and before they were a little more standard seattle alt indie.
First effect I ever picked up was a delay pedal because of them and a similar band, Forgive Durden. They used to play together a bunch at little house shows and would rock just guitar > dl4 > marshall combo amp for both bands. Sounded amazing to my 16 year old ears. I think the minus the bear guy brought a phaser pedal too but I wasn't paying much attention back then.

Definitely whatever Jeff Martin uses. He called the CT5 an "Idaho in a box", but he has been doing weird things with reverse delays since the 90s
