I don't think I've ever seen any big burly photographers at any shows. Or in general really. I see your point though. I still don't think it has anything to do with her being female, but who knows. I'm probably wrong.

Definitely depends on the gig. There are a few around here who are big burly dudes.

And what these media outlets fail to realize every time they pull shit like this in order to induce more outrage and sell more ads, is that it has a very negative impact on women's quest for equality. There shouldn't be female photographers, female doctors, and female police officers etc. They are more accurately described as simply photographers, doctors, and police officers.Going out of the way to use gender as a qualifier in a job title just enforces the notion that men and women are not equal. It's fucked up.
