Just posted a show with Araz Salek playing solo tar over in the "other guitars" thread, which reminded me that this footage went up on youtube just recently.

Labyrinth Ensemble are focused on playing/preserving/teaching different streams of modal music. This particular show, with Greek oud and yaylı tambur player Evgenios Voulgaris as the featured guest was "an exploration of 17th-century music collected by Romanian prince Dimitrie Cantemir and one of the most important figures in Ottoman music, Ali Ufki."

I was at this show, it was really great!
