I've watched a bunch of demos and I still don't really get what the point of the Mondegreen is. I really like my Dark Star though, and I'd like to get a Black Fountain sometime.

After having waited for any kind of review unsuccessfully, I decided to give it a try. I always wanted a dual channel od that sounded good with a baritone and with a great eq section - Himmelstrutz Fettos are great, but the boost side has too much mids; Fulldrive 3 has a great boost but the overdrive in itself is quite boring and lacks of low frequencies; etc.
Well, this Fault seems to suit all my needs. It has plenty of output volume, which is the first thing I check in a new dirt pedal. The gain range of the first channel is impressive: you can have a great clean boost or pushing it until you reach a warm overdrive. The eq section in very efficient, unlike old dual-channel Menatones, and can dramatically change the sound: from great cutting tones like a Klon to gainer and sharper sound in an OCD-style. Even if the eq seems to promote the treble side of the spectrum, the low frequencies are preserved at the point you can even use it as a bass boost on bass guitar!
Gain 2 goes from a mild overdrive to an high-gain od like the OCD previously mentioned. Again, using gain 1 as a clean boost and gain 2 as an high-gain od you can have an incredibly extended range of sound.
I'm not sure if this box has a distinctive and particular tone on its own, like the ones already mentioned, but is so flexible that it can cover lots of stuff. Ah, it takes very well aluminium guitars and hot pick-ups as well!
