This is just great, less than a month in and Ruiner has a case full of sickness already. I sure wish you lived closer to Denver, I would find a way to make you my best friend.

Seriously, pause with that for a bit. You have bought more in one month than I have in 3 or 4 years

. And I've been using semi-modular or software modulars for 10+ years.
Use what you have, see what you like, what you would like to do but can't (or don't know how to) and let that drive the rest of your modules swapping/acquisitions, rather than a list of cool things that will not necessarily be useful to your music.

That's the plan and been the plan. It's my first time with modular, not with gear.

Here's a quick sample of modular guitar only using Eurorack for effects. Proper clips to come soon after I spend more time with it and find more than 20 minutes at a time to visit my studio!

Lemme know I'm looking at finally buying a case for my descent into modular psychosis.

That Frap Tools case really looks awesome (though I somehow prefer the 84HP version but I can see why you went for the big one

). I see a proper distro board in the middle boat but is that a flying busboard in the upper and lower ones ? These are a bit of a pain in the ass usually... For a case like this you should get proper busboards for all boats...

they're all flying busboards.

Anybody see any chinks in the armor? Any utilities i'm missing and should probably have with this setup?

To me you look short on envelopes/modulation and offset/attenuation. But it all depends on how you use what you have, after you get comfortable the pieces you're missing will become glaringly obvious to you.
Edit: also a little 2hp unity mixer is good to have for mixing CV.
Edit 2: if Mutable Blinds fits in that hole that's what I would get, can use it for mixing/VCA/attenuversion/ring mod.

Yeah i imagine it will. Pamela's New Workout can do envelopes/modulation and offset/attenuation. Got Shades for attenuators or as attenuverters as well as the Quad VCA. Wasn't sure if that was enough though...

yeah Pam's will be good for LFOs but personally I wouldn't want to rely on it for envelopes, which are more fun if they can be triggered instead of set to a fixed clock or Euclidean sequence, you have Maths but it might not be enough, especially if you are using maths for other functions. *Or* Can the inputs on New Pam's be used to trigger envelopes? I haven't looked into all the new features.

But yeah it's all moot, you'll run into a limiting factor and know right away what you need based on what was preventing you to work the way you wanted. Your rig is primarily an FX rig and I can't help but think in terms of synth voices first and foremost, so I don't know if my advice is useful to you.
