I'd say it's a pretty solid troll account considering he managed to get to 5 pages in just a few hours. :surprise:
Eh that's standard for this board. So many people hop on right away.

I mean cmon, dude used a snowflake comment the second he was called out. Shits mad boring, people in 2005 did it better.

Nope. Might be in a rackmount I think, but no Boss Ring Mod pedal.

Fair enough bro. Luckily the music I am making doesn't require an oscillating fuzz. I'd actually like to hear music that is made with an oscillating fuzz. If you have any examples, please post.
Quoting this after reading--still on page one. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Snowflakes is so overused now. You're a snowflake, I'm a snowflake. Blah, blah, blah. Did you ever think about how hard it would be to actually be a snowflake? I mean, they fall all the way from the sky and are hit by all the conditions on the way down, yet stay together. Sounds pretty strong to me. AMIRITE?

I think what you're looking for is calling someone a snowball. You know, when you get sucked someone off and spit it back into the other persons mouth? That's a better term.

You snowballing whore.

Boss is aight. I like Boss. I like all pedal though because I'm not a simpleton limited by a lack of imagination. There are hundreds of bands out there using boutique and mass produced pedals. Ever see a pedal board? Just look at them next time you're at a show. Even country dudes use boutique shit.

That being said. If you don't like what someone uses or whatever your dilemma is, then fucking use what you want. I don't care.

Don't worry dude - no one is upset and threads get way more derailed than this around here.
All in all there are some fairly sensible comments amongst it all.

Anyone who says Boss doesn't do SSBS hasn't played an Xtortion with the gain on minimum. Super shitty to the max. :!!!:

Any body else wondering how we hit six pages on "Boss vs. Boutique" thread and haven't heard a peep from rfurtkamp?
I can only imagine the thesis he's putting together to set everyone straight and end this thread.

:snax:

But for real, I may be a self described "noisician", but what shows up on my board has less to do with brands and parts specs, and more to do with how it helps me achieve and translate the sound in my head.
There's a lot more I suppose I could say about the subject, but I'd rather go drone the afternoon away with some unabashed trance inducing, snake charming, evangelical amplifier worship.

It might not be "music" but at the end of the day, it's cathartic to me, and that's why I do it.
