do the reverse, let me power my pedals via my phone. Or hamster powered pedals.

Or better yet, make a cat toy controlled expression/cv controller and let your cat play your pedals

This almost exists. It got funded, but it hasn't made it to being a real-world product. I'm waiting to see if it's gonna be vaporware or not, but potentially I could almost convert my entire rig to usb power with these:

Nice!

I do think however that having a different shaped enclosure might make the spinner more usable.
Like if the stomp switch and controls were recessed from the light sensor/spinner so a person
could toe the gear to spin fast (or slow). Or maybe the knobs could be on the side of the stomp box
and just the stomp switch below the spinner? Imagine if you rotated the photo cells so that they
were located on the left side of the pedal as opposed to how they are currently horizontally laid
out. That way you could have a more narrow enclosure (depending on circuit) so that the right side
of the spinner would hang over the edge of the pedal and be accessible to right-footed pedipulation
(foot-based manipulation).

I don't know... but would having some sort of polarizing filter in those little circles in the spinner
alter how the photo cells read the light coming through? A polarizing filter alters how light comes
through based on the angle the filter is rotated. So that might (or might not) be something to
experiment with.

Also... now you need to develop a variation of your "light your pedal board" box that is on a winch
that is foot-activated so that you could raise and lower a light bulb directly over this Fidget Fuzz.

Something like this but with a small foot-activated pulley/winch system.

Also... a strobe mode on such a "light your pedal board" box that could be raised/lowered over
the Fidget Fuzz might add some new layers of pattern.

Cool stuff!

A fidget Trem would be really cool. I played w an optical Trem circuit and a piece of semi translucent paper and got some cool result.

Physicist Warns That Fidget Spinners Could Affect Earth's Center of Gravity?
Reports that "one of the nation’s most respected physicists" has warned that fidget spinners could have a harmful effect on the Earth’s center of gravity are fake news.
