To be perfectly honest, I always thought UG had aspergers syndrome and rich parents. It just makes the most sense.

I worked with people with aspergers syndrome for a few years (and I have someone close to me with the same diagnosis), and from what I can gather from reading his posts, he seems to fit the bill (or a similar diagnosis, like OCD/some sort of anxiety disorder). My point isn't to poke or make fun of that assumption, as the(/those) diagnosis(/diagnoses) is(/are) suffering from a lot of misconceptions/boarderline mythology, but simply to state that I don't think UG is a man who would fit in a normal job, hence I don't think he is the right person to listen to when it comes to common folk economics (as he has no idea what the fuck he is talking about ). To add to that, I don't think he is trying to be mean when he states what he does. It's simply seems logical to him.

Did she work for that diagnosis? Did he work for that license? Were all these handouts?

I wouldn't venture into a diagnosis for anyone. UG was probably just a member of the young republicans in his 80s elementary school or something.

oh the 80s, that takes me back. i remember when i was like 10 i wanted a bike, dad suggested I see if any neighbors wanted their lawn cut for like $5 or whatever. sure enough they did, and i spent that summer going door to door each week trying to find a yard to cut. didn't wind up with enough money to buy a bike buy my parents chipped in and that was great. next summer I used that bike to get a paper route, was less work for more money and I was able to buy baseball cards and comics or whatever all else kids are into. even got a buddy to take on a route too so we could get more comics. good times.
