That lens you use to view the world is distorted indeed
Too busy seeing sexism & racism everywhere to focus on what's right in front of you. How unfortunate.
And your deflection is noted. Also...did you really just try to be 2clever4u with an avatar burn?
Seems I really struck a nerve, are you that triggered, sparky?

Billy Corgan looks like a cross between a fashionable homeless cancer victim and one of those things from The Descent.
I only skimmed this thread but saw something that made me wanna play Tecmo Super Bowl.

Nice. I love Mission Hill.

Yeah, how did a thread about something as unanimously agreeable as Corgan being a turdle turn into an argument amongst ourselves? (rhetorical question)

A) The reality where the state, banks, insurers, strangers, bosses, coworkers, competition don't care about your feelings.
B) Civilization where you don't get special treatment *just because* ...unless you have a swollen bank account or you're 9/10 or better.
C) The diverse plane of existence where you do not get your way all of the time and it's rarely because of sexism, racism and so on.
D) All of the above.

I suspected as much. Thanks for the clear response.

I just think that most people who "see racism/sexism everywhere" are accurate. There's a lot of it about. As I white guy I don't get the chance to experience it much first hand, but enough black/women friends can attest to the bullshit they've been on the receiving end of. And I have totally been roped into "just between us white people" or "just between us men" conversations by people who thought I was a scumfuck like them. It's dumb to think that there aren't racists and sexists out there trying to make life harder for others. I haven't experienced much racism or sexism from people fighting or speaking out against racism. Closest I've seen is the overlap between pro-Palestinian protesters and total batshit anti-semites. There's some weird shit going on there for sure. :idk: Definitely not as much racism in those groups as I've experienced from general coworkers, landlords, neighbors, in-laws, whatever.

Anyway, I now see that it's obviously a cat. I see a resemblance to Ray Smuckles. And I'm glad you like Come Clean as much as I do.

I have no dog in this fight, but,
A) no one is saying this:
It's dumb to think that there aren't racists and sexists out there trying to make life harder for others.

and
B) it is leagues away from this:
I just think that most people who "see racism/sexism everywhere" are accurate.
good deals are here.

I've seen enough contempt in minority groups for those not of them to know it's not just the majority that hates.

Everyone does it. And always will.

The crux of the problem is nobody wants to admit that nothing is ever going to be fair.

Generations now have been fed that lie.
