I watched all the way to the end (and I'll watch it all the way to the end again). :snax:

slynau made me listen to this album again. Thanks, Syl. :!!!:

So, now you get "Love Me Tender" ring mod-style:

I'm still contemplating some of the earlier queries brought up in this thread, my mind refuses to allow a coherent discourse on it pass through my fingers, but the colors and shapes up there sure are solid.

Any progress on the experimental builds?

I'm thinking if the initial instrument signal is going to define an aspect of the carrier it would best most "ring mod" like if there was a lag or drift in the tracking, otherwise you've got your sum and difference in lock step with your playing and the result will fall sonically closer to wave shaping than wading through a sea of edgy beat-notes that a good modulator will bring out.

I think a circuit that includes ring mod is on my to do list, but I need to stop designing for a bit and just plow through the proper builds, so who knows. Glad you guys are keeping this thread alive is all.

I want somebody to build me a version of murderousmaths' Twing-Mod. (To be called the "Schwing-Mod". Complete with Wayne & Garth graphics.)

I like how he likes to stack ring mods (like me)!

I also like how those Dewtron modules are encased in resin like the early Dan Armstrong effects:

I found some info on the Dewtron ring mod modules he was talking about in the video.

Good video! Haha . The Wilson is based off that one right?

Yea, those Ken Stone pages are good stuff...really helpful tips in matching the diodes.

Yep, the Wilson's based on the Mold Spore.

I found this blog post from Tim at Fredric which I thought was pretty interesting too:

Thanks, Chankgeez.

More moody way?

Yeah, I'll do some more Moody Way clips. It definitely sounds best so far using the Cyber Psychic as the carrier.

I have new neighbors. So, I need to figure out when's the best time to record when they're not around. :snax: Anything in particular you'd like to hear?
