Thanks for bringing the focus of this thread back. I wasn't sure how to do it.

I was talking, and by that I mean mentioned to casecandy about playing some ESO with him but I've just been on a huge break from it and now it seems almost overwhelming.

Was thinking of just taking a journey back to Morrowind and playing through it and then Oblivion. I was having a lot of fun on ESO but as I do with all online games I start thinking about the gear grind and it can lose some of its luster. I mean, I fucking love Diablo 3 but the game is literally a gear grind at the end. I loved Diablo 2 for the gear grind but I think that I value my time a bit differently now that I'm 30 and have to work 45-50 hours a week versus when I would stay up until 5 a.m. everyday trying to get runes to roll a perfect Enigma.

I ponder why they choose each joint and connection, what the logic behind it it. After I build it, I play with it and explore the features.
An added benefit is that if I am having light anxiety, I can play with something I already built. Just looking at my shelf of unassembled sets still in the box lets me know that I have come a long ways.

Could always become a street prophet of Legoland...

Your Lego anxiety solution makes me super happy, by the way. Mine is cooking. And buying pedals

I love this. You may laugh, but what about Origami or making patterns out of Hama? I think they have some overlap.

I actually considered it. I even built a blog for it, Bricks and Borderlines. My life kinda went to shit not too long after and it fell by the wayside. Then, I discarded the Borderline label. I'd like to do something with it, still. Hmmmm...
My force of habit, I am an insect
I have to confess I'm proud as hell of that fact

Lego is stupid fun. My wife and I have gotten pretty addicted. That's probably part of why I'm not around here so much these days, I've certainly spent more on Lego in the last year than on music gear.

It's going to be really hard to avoid all these pedal deals when what I really need is a new amp.

The eternal struggle.

I have more to post, too, but I'll wait until I have five or so and do 'em all in one go.
