False, "noise" is.
Close second for me. Defintely more of a classic, but there are so many refreshing tracks on New Album that get me pumped to play some music of my own.

ILFNoir is for people that don't go outside.
But yeah aside from the repackage of The Thing That Solomon Overlooked that came out last year their 2008-and-prior discography totally wipes the fucking floor with the drivel that you and case shovel into each other's waiting arms like lovebirds. Shit sucks.

Incontrovertible photographic evidence is rare in this topsy-turvy electronic age, but you seem to have provided it.

I actually tend to agree. Picked up Noise and some other one when I saw them...yea, never really got a second listen into my listening (will eventually I guess). I'll go back and listen to
Pink,
Akuma No Uta, and
Vein from time to time....but those two newer ones can't keep my interest (but I ain't that big of a Boris fan...I like them, but they aren't one of my favorite bands or anything).
I didn't like that Boris and SunnO))) album either...I'll take Albini and KK Null covering Kraftwerk anyday (not that it is a direct correlation or anything...

just that track rocked haha).
Things Viral >
White 2....haha, didn't even realize they were from around the same time either haha (don't know how people relate them...but they were kind of my introduction to that whole scene)
Lo Flux Tube is a great album. Maybe better than the first OLD album...way better than the stuff that came later
Twitch is the best Ministy album.
Every KMFDM album after
opium got progressively worse until the barely passable
Symbols (exception for UAIOE...which was better than Don't Blow Your Top)...now they are a freaking joke. opium > What do you know... > UAOIE > Don't Blow Your Top > Money > NIHIL > XTORT > Symbols > Adios > MDFMK > ATTAK > whatever else they made
Pig Vs. KMFDM is probably better than anything else KMFDM did in the 1990s...
The Swining is probably better too (yes, I know it isn't KMFDM, just saying).
Skold ruins ever album he is on...and the best thing he could have done was keep Shotgun Messiah going so that we would know what to avoid.

New album is better than Noise for me. I really fucking like Noise, but its a close second to New Album. New Album just sounds so hyperactive and happy, its loud and fast, gazey but still sludgy. Its a beautiful bubble of hyperactive metal that always gets me psyched up whenever I hear it. I like it when Boris get droney and slow, but I always find myself jumping to this album if im in a "Boris" mood.
Also, sunn o))) is good for certain moods and sound systems, but I feel like the only time I would want to hear there music is live. Listening to their albums compared to what I've heard about their live shows seems like looking at a picture of starry night vs seeing it in person. I'd rather see them live.

My comparison - Sunn O))) albums are something I'll gladly put on from time to time to write to, play video games to or whatever
Sunn O))) live is an experience that borderline scared me and fucked me up for many hours. It was an overwhelming experience in all aspects and I'm not sure I want to repeat it any time soon
that being said, listening to Sunn O))) from the album after seeing them live is not diminished for me. It's different. Still worth the listen
