Nope. I'm not mad. I'm evil. My mother had me tested.

I'm simultaneously really annoyed that I hadn't listened to Eventide demos and really grateful I hadn't when I had money because holy shit I need a space and a Pitchfactor.... Can the H9 do pre-post routing/does it have Space algorithms?

Yes.
H9 Max has all the algorithms.
Regular H9 has Shimmer and Hall from Space, but you can get reverb out of the Crystals and Ultratap algorithms too.

But if you own a Space, you can't get algorithms from any of the other pedals, right? If you can't, then what's the point of the H9 Control being made available for it?
This thread made me get a Space. I needed a verb for my tabletop, and I bet this sounds tits with drones. Officially psyched as f00k!

Right.
H9 Control is kinda useless for the Space and the Factors indeed since you can make and edit all the presets right there with the physical knobs.
The only useful thing I can think of is to manage presets. Things like backups, copy/paste, change order and painless naming. For some people it can be faster or cooler to edit stuff in a software editor with a mouse and a keyboard I guess.

I'm a very tactile person, so I guess I'll spend a few hours on the floor managing those presets.

I sold my H9's few months ago but I heard/ read somewhere that they now have pre/post routing.
