First pedal I owned was a DOD Grunge that was my uncle's before he gave it to me. First pedals I bought-Boss TU-3 and Boss BF-3 at a Guitar Center. That was actually only like two years ago-haven't been in the pedal game for that long.

Lots of ODB-3 love in this thread. I just can't get mine to sound good.

I bought it try to get some Buzz Osborne tones, but it just may not be compatible with my Mesa Boogie rig.

I saw the Melvins last month. I was right up front expecting to be crushed. Hear me out - I'm not a Melvins fan really. Never got into them. But at the very least I was excited to see a super loud super heavy band.
I was met with the sound of an ODB-3 into a solid state amp. Could of been any guitar, with any amp, but that sound was unmistakable. Every band I've ever played in has been louder than the Melvins were that night. I went in with high hopes and left disappointed. If you're disappointed with how your guitar sounds using the ODB-3, then you are nailing the King Buzzo tone.

Saw Melvins like 2 years ago and they weren't too loud but tight as fuck.
I actually don't enjoy loud ass gigs anymore except when is Boris time.

First pedal was a DOD FX75-B Stereo Flanger, second was a Crybaby, Third was a late 90's Muff, fourth was a phase 100, fifth was a moog ring mod. There were a couple others, but not much over a period of like 20 years. Pedals were seasoned in. Most often I just plugged in and played. Then I joined this forum about two years ago, and all hell broke loose...
