We all know what the name means. But it really is like that. It’s big, but it’s hardly modern higain, what I really enjoy about it is that... almost woody, vintage vibe I get from it, feels like a huge oldschool tube amp dimed and saggy and stuff like that... Great on all bass and standard and baritone tuning guitars, very inspiring. Also very tweakable, although upon first glance it can be a bit confusing before you understand how the controls work. After you do, you can get a lot of different tones from it.

It’s beautiful and crunchy, very inspiring and very usable. If you ever get a chance to buy one, do it, it’s an interesting pedal for sure!

Really like this demo a lot. I think you showed a wide range of styles and instruments. Really good man!

Indeed, nice job! It can be tough showing off all that a Bloom can do, because it can do so damned much. But I think you pretty much nailed it.

I do think I might have done a bit more on the higher gain side of things, but I honestly found those lower gain, woody fuzztones much more... fun?

This week, it's SS/BS Mini Overdrive

I used to own this pedal for quite a while and used to use it on both bass and guitar, so making this demo was super easy and fun for me. But it also made me fall in love with the pedal again, because it's just awesome for super solid and versatile sounds that can extremely vary from each other but are all very usable. And who wouldn't want an overdrive that can do all EQ, boosting, OD, distortion and fuzz in such practical way?

PS: yep, it can get pretty damn heavy

Uuuuuuuuughhhhh. I just wrote in another thread that I haven't bought an overdrive in over a year but the Mini GAS is almost too overpowering soon.

I basically use the second setting you played with guitar at the beginning of the video with the gain all the way up. Cool demo!
