Haha! Same here! Me and Eivind were trying to find a neat setting for a song when it happened. Both looked at each other with boyish wonder that turned into devilish grins. I love finding weird stuff like this

Skipped lunch to play with the pedal. So playing the studio's house guitar (Gibson LP double cutaway) through a Fender Twin Reverb. Clean no other FX.
First impressions from plugging it in, I very much like it. It's got some quirks, and it takes some work to get a universal sound. There are a lot of sounds to get out of here, but a lot of them sound good on one set of notes, but not others. That's the nature of pitch shifting I guess. There are definitely plenty of sounds you can dial in and just jam on. But this isn't a pedal for people who just want it to sound good on every setting.
Super impressed, already finding neat tricks. I am a particular fan of leaving my foot on the reset switch and triggering the effect by letting go when I want a little excitement thrown in.
Little clip I snapchatted earlier. Nice little universal shimmer and excitement setting with my most overused 2 chord progression.

Very excited to get this thing going with fuzz and other pedals.

Yeah it's not an intelligent pitch shifter and isn't gonna work with ever note but if you're clever enough you can get it to work with a lot of stuff. One thing that works for me is using the root note, fifths and octaves in my sequences.

Oh definitely, just mean to say that it's not for the people who want to put in little to no effort into a sound. Loving the pedal.
Here's what I did with that chorus-y effect y'all mentioned earlier.
Starts with clean tone. Dirty tone kicks in at 34 seconds.

Haha, Thanks!
I never listened to a lot of the pumpkins, but I can't count the amount of times people have said my playing reminds me of one of their songs. That or I write something they've already written.
Guess they most have left an impact on me regardless.
The only switch to get the lead tone was switch to the Creamery Sonic 60 bridge pickup and a little more volume from the guitar. Can not stress enough how great that pickup is for instantly penetrating a muddy mix.

More AARP Sounds. Some of it is obvious, some is layered in there subtly. All tracks involved had the AARP on. Including stems so you can hear the individual uses of the AARP

Stems:
Lets start with the Bass. Mixed in kind of quietly,but it's a rapid cycle of close pitches so that you get that neat little warble effect. There is only one bass track, so that added layer of tone is the AARP
[soundcloud]https://soundcloud.com/drod91/bass-stem?in=drod91/sets/aarp-demo-track-stems[/soundcloud]
Arpeggio stem. The most obvious use of the AARP. Giving the whole track some movement. AARP is set to the minor scale and somewhat timed to the temp. This is my only real annoyance with the AARP. I wish the tap tempo would be length of time for the whole cycle versus the length of each step, since I seem to mainly use it for quicker cycles. That is a personal thing though. I'm using a dry space echo output to get the tape to compress the tone and get the sustain plus tape hiss through the arp to naturally swell in after the two note phrase.

Rhythm Track. Same settings as the Arpeggio, but more hidden and reserved. You can hear it going in the background. This is all one track except the chorus and bridge are double tracked.

Same settings but more hidden. You can only hear it really kick in only on the long sustained notes.

when you mentioned they weren't moving as quick as you expected I didn't understand why and I still don't! this thing is fucking radical..

it's surprisingly small for all of the things it's capable of. I love how the LED lights on while the tap tempo is 'loading', that's something I've never seen before. also like how you can nail 3/5/7s by hitting the reset button before finishing the pattern. an incredibly handy tool... I can only imagine how much work went into this box, but expression over tempo or even mix would be very handy. in any case, absolutely
amazing job with the AARP. are you planning on anything else?
here's a clip with 3 parts;

https://soundcloud.com/gaynoise/cooper-fx-aarp1st: drone thing -> aarp -> 2nd voice deluxe -> bitquest (reverb)
2nd: drone thing > aarp > 2nd voice deluxe
3rd: drone thing > misty cave > aarp (loads of settings explored in this clip)

Excellent pedal Mr Cooper! Very versatile, the reset knob in particular is a great addition. I'm interested in ordering one, however I live in the UK - would you be willing to ship internationally?

as long as you are willing to pay a bit extra for shipping. I could check with the post office to estimate the shipping costs.
