Ok, here is quick attempt. I tried something a bit different (which is weird thing to say since I just got these), but I played most of them upside down like drums as the orientation in the video shows. The drone is pretty much all from the shruti box, although there is a bit of "singing" bowls somewhere in there in some parts although you probably can't tell.

Thanks for the compliments guys.
Resincum, all those bowls, plus the ringing instruments and shipping came out to over $2300. I am most likely going to spend another $450 this weekend on 3 more. It is not cheap. In another thread I likened them to modular synthesizers. I think it is a thing you are always going to want to buy more of.

So is that just straight singing bowls? Like no added fx of any kind??? It sounds like there is is why I'm asking but if there isn't, holy crap that's crazy! hahaha.
I can't believe they cost so much, but I guess it's an instrument, so it makes sense. Love to hear more when you make it!

I looked and I am able to watch it at 1080p. Is that not available to you? Or are you talking about me actually recording something on a real format and posting it?

The chain for the shruti box is Echo Degrader, RM-1N, WMD Parametric EQ. The chain for the bowls is Echo Degrader, RM-1N, WMD Parametric EQ. Every now and then, I would throw a Seppuku Memory Loss in the front of that bowl chain. I used that for some of the random noises and swells you hear throughout the video. There's tons of layers/overdubs in that video.

Thanks again! I have fun making stuff like this. I checked out that buddha machine and that is a pretty cool little toy. I feel honored for the comparison!
I tried to check out your instragram but you are private. What are you hiding?

Got 2 new bowls today plus this manly bass drum beater. It really brings out the lows in the bowls, which of course you really can't tell because I am using a crappy old lofi mic, plus the android phone recording ain't doing nobody any favors. Although, I do enjoy lofi crap, so yeah.
Made a quick demo. Pretty straightforward, nothing special, but you guys wanna hear this crap.
