Building a wall to close off the stairs to the second floor


Kitchen gone in a bit more than 60 seconds. Putting up another wall to close off the kitchen area. First time implementing a sliding door in a wall. I think it's going to be good.



Previous owners put two layers of tiles in the entrance room. Weirdchamps.

Put in a new digital door lock. No more keys, woooo!

A house consists of a lot of trash. This is less than 50% of the trash from less than half of the house.


Still got a shit ton of work left. It will be my full time job for the rest of the year, but in the end, I think it's going to be great.

It's battery-powered

Starts beeping about two weeks before the battery runs out. Battery is changed on the inside.

Is it AI/APP controled? If your amazon box hears you shit'talking Bezos will Alexa lock you out of your house?

Well that makes too much sense.

It's not connected to an app/the internet. You make a 6-10 digit code and you can program limited access if needed (another code that lasts x amount of hours/days/weeks or x amount of times), or you can hold a small token/plastic coin looking thing up to the lock to bypass having to type in a code, but I haven't bothered with that. Enjoying not having to bring anything along with me when I walk out the door.

Oh, and if anyone tries to mess with it, like drill into it or get the code wrong too many times, it has a built-in 80 desibel alarm. All high end freqs. I tried it. I hurts.

We started working on some basement stuff a few years ago but progress is at a standstill due to impending child, etc.

Should upload some pictures of the damn playhouse I’ve been working on with my father in law. Is basically a studio apartment in my back yard.

Began putting down new floors in the second floor mini bedrooms


Finished building half of the stairs (still needs some work though). This work is incredibly difficult and frustrating.

New windows arrived (10 of them, plus a new porch door). Look at this big ass window that's going to replace the 6 small windows. Nice! I'm hyped for this one.
