great scene/points
I enjoy how nobody can lay a hand on the guy in some of the movies, like he's the original Neo. Comical attempts. Pretty sure
Fire Down Below is such an example...which also has a glorious little music scene in it. I get most of my enjoyment from the facial expressions and haircuts obv

Last night's 'gem'. It actually wasn't bad. I will watch anything with Olivia Hussey. Roger Ward always raises a film a half letter grade. I need to dive more into 'ozploitation'. Maybe Pope would care to comment?

Random formula thoughts: any (existing) film with Gary Busey is prob going to be a good time for me.
Also John Lithgow villains.

^^^100%. Some actors make an otherwise mediocre or crummy movie all the more dynamic. Early Martin Sheen roles do that for me.
THE GIRL WHO LIVES DOWN THE LANE is a shitty movie but Martin Sheen brings it to a level of 'unnerving' to the point of compelling.

Def. A number of talented actors frequently pop up in shitty movies, and make the experience so enjoyable it gets better with every viewing.
Add Keith David and Luis Guzman to the list of "I'm probably going to dig this movie if they're in it". Also Lucy Liu.

If I see any actor from a Happy Madison production...I am 100% in...
Next time I make an equipment recommendation...please remember that I think STRANGE WILDERNESS is one of the funniest movies ever made.

Going Overboard set me back about 99 pennies around 2003, and I definitely felt cheated. Maybe now that Sandler has made his millions, he can remake it with Oliver Cooper.

That's how I felt about GODZILLA VS MONSTER ZERO...even as a 7 year old...

Drunken Wu-Tang (aka Taoism Drunkard) features the crotch-biting watermelon monster/robot, along with several other oddball and eccentric characters. The fighting is surprisingly creative, if you can enjoy/overlook the cringeworthy dialogue and ridiculous story.

Live Like A Cop Die Like A Man was on Netflix a couple of years ago and it changed my life

That movie is just awesome and changed my life too. I wouldn't call it 'shitty'. Totally 'trashy' though as most Poliziotteschi movies are.
That opening sequence...nothing like it.
Favorite movie of that genre is WHAT HAVE THEY DONE TO YOUR DAUGHTERS? again, I wouldn't consider that film 'shitty' by any stretch.

Regarding Steven Seagal...why AFI never includes this scene in their 'lists' is beyond me...this scene transcends itself and becomes cinematic poetry...
"But There Aint nobody upstairs Is there!?"
The earlier scene when William Forscythe and his thugs escape through the meat market and Seagal fucks shit up.. he pins that dudes hand to the wall with the clever, and the guy shrieks in agony for the rest of the fight scene.. Give that guy an Oscar!
I don't even want to have to mention
..
Hard Target..
the best Van-Damage movie ever.. greasy-ass mullet flapping about as he double kicks guys with tight pants on.. and that Creole accent! Shit!
