Maths is based of a Serge Dual Universal Slope Generator and it has some logic and maybe something else.
Anyways, slopes are Attack (sloping up aka Rise) and Decay (sloping down aka Fall) in an AD envelope (needs a trigger) but really can be used for sources of trigger, pulses (clocks), control voltage processors (portamento's, slews), regular repeating voltages (LFO's), Envelope Follower (Detector),VC Pulse Delay, Sub-Harmonic Osc,etc...
To get the different functionalities depends on how it is patched and what is being fed into it...Deep stuff but when you grasp it, it is amazing.

There is definitely some musical sounds in there I think. I liked the R2-D2 sound I was getting towards the end. The Maths is a real piece of work though.

I knew there was a newer version but I thought it was a different panel only. Oh well, I don't have Euro anyways, I am into 4u...
Have the Erica Synths Polivoks LFO into the Polivoks VCF and then stretch it out with the Mutable Instruments Clouds. Really happy I chose the Erica Synths Polivoks stuff for my modular. Resonance knob can make crazy stuff happen and it sounds great!
It's a very spooky castle. Unfortunately I don't get a lot of whale noises because the drone is constant. But let it be known the whale noises are plentiful and great.
