... could have a camera type screw thread in the base so you could stick it on a tripod ...

Or do what Nels Cline does & use a piano stool + small suitcase as effects table:

These pedals look and sound rad, but the sidejacks kill it for me. If it were me, I would've put the dips on the opposite side (bottom? - not the back where you put velcro, I'm talking about the area under the stomps), i/o and power at the top and the tempo/exp on one side. That seems logical to me. I don't think I've ever came at a pedal from any direction other than the top, so I don't think they would get smashed or anything. oh well.
I also think the old Wombtone logo looked pretty sweet, better than the haight-ashbury hippie looking one.... though I can understand why he changed it.

I actually was thinking about that myself, but I bet that would screw up the way the stomp operates. Meaning I doubt there's room for it without expanding the size of the box. I could be wrong though?
I can't wait to try one of these or all of these..

When my LGS first got the Warped Vinyl he opened it up and showed off how crazy the inside is. I don't think top jacks would fit, Joel did an insanely meticulous job packing things in there.
Looking forward to the demo for the Gravitas!

Without getting too deep into it, there are critical reasons (electrically, mechanically, etc) why I chose the layout I did. In addition, mixing analog and digital design can be a very tricky business to get everything to behave right, and PCB layout and where things are placed all play a role in that.

It's physically impossible to put the dips on the bottom by the stomps. The stomp switches are too big. Plus, you also can't fit the expression, midi, in and out jacks up top.

Resisted Warped Vinyl MKI successfully. The knobs video just make resisting this one beyond my GAS threshold. Drunkenly pre-ordered. I stopped giving a shit where the jacks were a long time ago, and am happier for it. There are way to many great pedals with side jacks to make that a sticking point.
