It's a wolf stuck in a computer. Easy as apple pie and lemon squeezing. I've tried a few different fuzzes aimed at getting those 8-bit sounds, and this is in my opinion the best. It nails the glitchines and somehow "feel" of the old videogame soundtracks. It's pretty cool for overdrive and more typical Fuzz Face-sounds, but that's not really what I'm here for. The oscillations are kinda static, and only slightly tuneable with your guitar vol/tone, so either play without long stops, or set it to some note that fits with what you're playing. Anyway, if you're into these sounds, you owe it to yourself to play one.
Link's Awakening!
Great demo sir.

After 7 aborted attempts at watching this (young children are awesome) I've finally watched it the whole way through. Super rad man. As if I needed more GAS.
Going to go subscribe to your YT channel. Don't think I've done that yet. Also faceplam.

Eyh, thanks guys.
Gor: You should sit your children down with you to watch uncle Eivinds fuzz noise. Thanks for the sub, dude.

I tried, but they keep just wanting to throw my phone. They've just discovered that they can throw toys/dad's stuff. It's mostly ruined my home life. It used to be cool setting up pedals on the floor because they'd crawl over and twist knobs and stuff, but now they walk/stumble over, rip out all the cables and then try and throw the pedals. It's apparently the in thing with the 1 year old crowd.

Haha, they grow up so fast, don't they? You will probably miss this when they get into the 'mine'-phase, though.

Finally got to catch up on everything. Great stuff man (as always). Wagging the finger at the Wolf Computer made my day.

Thanks man. Was going to move a knob then decided not to and somehow ended up wagging my finger instead.

Back from the dead (or Japan, whatever), and you guys have been watching my demos! Was going to give a shoutout when I reached 1000 views all in all, and now it's suddenly nearer 2000?! Awesome.
Anyway, the MASFs are coming soon. Filmed most of the stuff for the Epilepsy, so that might drop tonight or tomorrow. The Thornoscillator will come a little later, as I've yet to figure everything out on it. Amazing pedal though, and some pretty tasty old school fuzz tones if you dig deep. And as if that wasn't enough, Gnomeratron VTF and 4545 are on their way from Sweden, courtesy of Goroth. That's a huge chunk of the list, making it severly possible that I finish this thing sometime in july. So yeah, thanks everybody.
tl;dr: bump.

This one right here is gonna be epic.
Somebody better tell Spunkiez to fire up the forges, because folks are gonna start lusting after VTFs hard again.

Ole McSpunky has got time on his side. It'll take Eivind about 200 years to understand what all the knobs and switches and stuff do. Jeez, I still don't understand it

Awesome, glad to have you back man. Good to hear about the Thornoscillator...might get one on my next import run (almost did this time, but good 'ol SPK showed up). Can't wait for the demos.
Goroth: always an awesome dude.
Re: Oscillating fuzz demos - (Mellowtone Wolf Computer)
Harsh, nasty, noisy, extreme etc. Pretty intuitive fuzz, despite the unruly nature of the oscillations. Very interactive with your guitar settings, pick attack and stuff. With some tweaking you can get some "standard", pretty fat fuzz out of it. You can easily get those sweet Endon toanz. At some settings it can be similar to your standard run of the mill oscillating fuzziebox, but generally it's wilder and less melodic. Some pretty unique sounds in this thing.

That is awesome man. Really enjoyed it. Gotta pick one up.
I will agree that a good pedal can make you approach an instrument in a new way (misty cave and rattle crow have done that for me) and combine that with a solid, wild, badass fuzz you get gold.
