I have a pair of Boneshakers coming to me that will be mysteriously left abroad with friends.
But first they will be stacked.

Mine showed up today.
Somebody said Harman doesn't provide tracking.
So far I'm not sure how I feel about it.
I played it after waking up from an hour long nap, and it just sounded like a generic distortion pedal.
But, then again, I also thought my Fuck Overdrive (which I usually love) sounded like shit, too.

I thought that about The Elements initially too and now it's a permanent fixture on my board

Mine was actually on my doorstep when I got home. I guess it didn't come USPS and after 4pm.

So, I spent a little more time with it now and I found that it's really nice about reacting to the guitar's output. When I rolled the volume all the way back on my guitar (with the distortion cranked on the Boneshaker), instead of sounding super muddy and dark like it usually does when I roll the volume, it sounded more like a just-about-dirty amp than like a regular distortion that's just has lower input volume (which, in my experience, tends to sound like shit).
I was playing mainly in drop A and C standard on an SG and it sounded really solid, actually.
Now, I'm kinda curious how it'd sound with single coils and in my usual D#.

I'm digging it with my jazzmaster in standard. I bought it for bass/VI but haven't had a chance to try with those.
Does anyone know if this is based on anything? Most BAT seemed to be based on other things (like almost all other fuzz makers).

All I know is it has TL074 quad opamp (probably has to do with the EQ), a TL072 dual opamp (which is what I assume is the main source of distortion), a (I think) 2N7002 N-Channel MOSFET (looks like it's the input booster), and an M5C dual switch diode (clipping?).
So, it's probably comparable to a lot of other overdrives/distortions, but that EQ is what's gonna make it really special.

Thank you for the info. Wish I knew a little more about those specifics but I am trying to learn. I think this thing would be awesome if you could mod it for low gain and then just have a super powerful eq. Either way I love me some cocked wah dirt tones.

Reminder that A) the depth knob works in reverse and B) the eq is pre-distortion, so cracking a band distorts it changing how the whole thing sounds completely.
