I can't get enough of this pedal. I think I played for a good 4 hours straight just making weird noises and learning the different modes.
Bunch of short instagram clips with terrible lighting and questionable sound quality:
Mode 1 - playing with harmonics and behind the bridge on a jazzmaster:
http://videos-c-6.ak.instagram.com/hpho ... 8464_n.mp4
Mode 2:
http://videos-e-10.ak.instagram.com/hph ... 9356_n.mp4
http://videos-e-13.ak.instagram.com/hph ... 6025_n.mp4
Mode 2 + other pedals:

http://videos-d-13.ak.instagram.com/hph ... 2227_n.mp4
Mode 3:

I honestly want two more of these pedals so I can have have one dedicated to each mode

Montreal Assembly should totally build three separated versions and keep the Count to 5 as the super deluxe version
(EDIT: I guess this kind of already happened with mode 1/GB24

)

this would be cool, cheaper updated versions of each mode as an option with the deluxe for the true experimenter in all of us.
I would probably need all 4!

It would probably be an insane amount of work for Scott though
I can't imagine building 4 versions of the same pedal would be easy
Also it would be "cheaper", i.e., they won't cost as much individually, but then we'll all just be buying 4 pedals instead of the one

at this point it is the same price to make them single function or multi/fuinction since all the software is already written/the design work is done. there are no plans to make single function versions of the new patches. in the end wouldn't it be better to have 3 mulitifunction units than 3 individual ones? definitely gives you more options and costs the same.
the previous gb24 individual pedal was much cheaper to make though because it uses much cheaper/fewer parts/way shorter development cycle. i think for people who have had both it is pretty easy to hear the sound difference, even if one prefers the sound of the cheaper unit, they are not at all the same hardware. So if you want the new hardware with restricted software, sure, but it costs the same.

if you want the old gb24, maybe if there is enough demand, but no plans for another run at this point.

ahh but see now you're thinking like a decent human being, what you need to do is look at the big boys!
for example, mp3 player by large, pear-like corporation. 4GB, 8GB and 16GB. Overcharge for every step of the way. Only build 16GB units, then restrict the memory for the 4GB/8GB units!
MONEY, SEE?

Yes please post your results. I don't have access to one, but according to the details on the ehx site it should work fine with the ct5 exp input.
From EHX:
NOTE: Compatible expression inputs must accept a voltage source as the controlling signal(yes). The expression input should also allow for an expression pedal TRS plug with the following connections: Sleeve = Heel, Ring = Toe, Tip = Wiper(yes). The expression voltage present on the Ring of the TRS plug sets the maximum range of the controlling signal; this Ring voltage must be between 2VDC and 9VDC(yes, ring voltage is 3.3V).
Just remember to use TRS cable not a normal mono cable.
