Iiiinteresting. Never played a Bee Baa, and I love the idea of a full featured EQ section.

I dig! Especially 4 band. That's gonna rule hard.

Only thing I'm not sold on is the stompable mid scoop but that is because I've never seen the value of scooping mids. So if you could just leave that out on mine that'd be great.
Yeaaahh...

Also I'd like to see all pedals come with a free sext.

On a less unconstructive note - instead of mid scoop what about stomp to bypass the tone stack, or maybe to bypass a gain stage and degain it, or to engage a simple boost and boot the fuck out of it? Toggle to switch the order for the boost pre or post fuzz.

Or I'll just shut up and buy it.

But seriously. Sexting.

So long as we're offering mods, Instead of the bee baa circuit base it on the funny cat.

Bee baa's gotta have a mid scoop footswitch.
That's like what it is all about.
I love mine.
4 band eq though! Fuckin right.

So the reason behind the mids scoop stomp is so you can change tones on the fly without touching any knobs.

I'm not sure the Bee Baa will need any more volume boost, although that's always an option. I mean, there's always an option of adding a third switch, one for mids, one for octave up. The more switches though, the more cramped things get.

Everything is still in development, so we might change things down the road. OR! If we do a run and it goes well, maybe I'll offer a different version with different features.

I agree too with the mids scoop not being useful to everyone. But a lot of people do like that as an option either on a pot or footswitch.

I thought knob touching was encouraged.

I don't know exactly how clean blends work, but would it be possible to include a treble boost, like the original beebaa, that only applies to the clean side?

Well of course they are! This won't be lacking in knobs at all! The reason for the footswitch is for the gigging musician that just wants to hit it and go. I want something extremely usable and at the same time fun. Also this isn't a set in stone thing either.

I'm still looking into enclosure options and honestly have no idea what it's going to look like right now. It's going to a bit on the larger side because of the features. About the same size as a ILFDD. Still working out the details on that. At some point down the road, I'll look at more custom type enclosures, but have to see what this does first.

I'll look into the treble boost. I wanted it to based on the Bee Baa but not an exact clone. So we'll see. :)

OK GUYS! Here's the deal.

Anyone interested please PM me here. I am going to offer a special discount only to my ILF bros and only for a limited time. The pedal is well underway and will be finished before I know it. This is a non commitment PM. Just say, hey I may be interested. The first 10 people will receive a discount before the pedal goes up in price. No money until it's complete. :) So don't worry about that. Just an I'm interested please keep me informed.

So just to recap what has been said.

Bee Baa based fuzz
Four band Eq
Scoopable Mids (adjustable on a pot and possibly engaged by a footswitch...the footswitch may or may not happen)
Clean/Dry blend for added bottom end
Expression control over sustain
Top mounted jacks and power
Killer graphic :)

Size of the pedal (hopefully) will be about the same size as a ILFDD. So it's not a small pedal but it will have probably 8 knobs. So...yea that takes some space. haha
