Gain doesn't seem pre reverb. It's pretty incorporated or post reverb it ramps up and grits everything including the reverb trails

And noisy. I mean: very noisy.
There's hiss and hum on most settings, but it's amazing. A beautiful noise, definitely.
Yes, you could probably get similar results by combining a lo-fi OD and reverb, but the way such two effects melt into each other in this pedal is...awesome.
This together with the Echo Dream 2 will give you a very broad, blurry, fuzzy, loud palette of sound.
Not for the faint at heart, as this is not a subtle nor organic reverb (nor was meant to be, I assume). It takes over your tone and possesses it.
And hopefully move those pots...eeek. I bet they're board mounted.EvilCatBucky wrote:rot gut wrote:![]()
Of course now you could get it etched!
edit: although the more I look at it the more I kinda like that plain look.
I hadn't even seen that Industrialectric one until you guys brought it up. It sounds really nice. If I'd seen it first I'd have had a tough time picking.doommeow wrote:Uncle Grandfather wrote:anybody compared this to industrialectric reverb machine?
I might be willing to loan my DBA to someone that has the Industrialectric and wants to make a comparison vid.
yes! been using it at practice and it sounds really good when played really loud. i use mine with the altitude at 10oclock and the verb at 2 in sunshine mode. there is some noise but it becomes more apparent with the verb or altitude cranked. at band volume i didnt find the noise to be an issue. the volume is like any other DBA, it is crazy loud! like someone said earlier this reverb is massive, and i found it gets along with dirt/fuzz pretty good before or after it in the chain.Ragged Trousers wrote:Folks still digging this?
Yes, definitely. It stands out very well in a band mix. It allows me to use less pedals and it's great when stacked with the Echo Dream 2, noize for dayz!Ragged Trousers wrote:Folks still digging this?

Got my hands on an Echo Dream 2 and MY GOD do they play well together! I was surprised the "fuzz" of the ED2 wasn't really that fuzzy, and it really stacks well going into the Reverberation Machine. I almost feel like I could make a small board with just these two.dan_abnormal wrote:Yes, definitely. It stands out very well in a band mix. I'm using it pre-dirt, I've another reverb (strymon Flint) last in my effects chain for a more conventional hall/plate sound.

It makes me do things I wouldn't normally do.
Haven't gotten lost in a new pedal like this in some time.
