Ill mess with it tonight. from what I can tell, it cops the Diabolik sound pretty well plus a mammoth which I havent played before.
Any trouble cutting through a mix with it?

it's got a lot of mids, in my experience no not really. but it's very voiced, it depends on what everyone else in your band is doing, its possible it could get lost

I've heard the Whammy described as "short-lived fun for you while pissing off everyone in your band and the audience"
Paraphrasing a word or 2...and cant remember a source to give proper credit...so if someone knows then shout'm out for that gem.

My ex guitarist used one to pretty good effect in one of our songs. But it was one part in one song. So, 20 seconds tops. Just long enough to confuse and mystify, then it disappeared back into the night.

Now I'm on the hunt for a fuzz that isn't JUST a fuzz. Maybe some weird filter fuzz or something? I wanna try a Prunes and Custard, but I don't play Muse covers, so...
Anything played any interesting Fuzzes lately?
If you want a filtery fuzz, Idiotbox deathray is a good choice. EXP control for the filter too. Ive got one and I love it.

Try out the Creepy Fingers Pink Elephant, if you like the Diabolik for the octavey, synthish thing. Mine cuts much better than my Assmaster did, which previously held the title.

A lot of the filters on the m5 are sick but some of them are pretty useless
I reckon an m5 is pretty useful for any board
