Country Twang is usually clean or slightly overdriven with Compressor... It WILL accentuate your sharp attacks when set right...

all good yo! compression is a weird doodad for sure. i think the general description of what it does, doesn't do it any justice. its so much more than just leveling your shit, its much more of an "effect" than a "utility" than ppl realize.
this is my favorite compressor btw...i'll take your manleys, distressors, kush audios, your LA2A's or whatever the fuck they are on anydayyy. SPPPPPPPPPPP VINYL SIM.
i also use an empress compressor when I play live. blown away by the sound quality.
