I really, really wanted one of those, Pop. But I wanted it in a glossy pelham blue like the Tweedy SG so I didn't pull the trigger

you're right, the pickguard needs to be mint green. Then it's sexy like that jaguarillo.
I really want a Jazzmaster in sonic blue with a mint pickguard.
Not a big fan of the dark/royal blue finishes on most guitars, but there are exceptions to every rule.
