edit: I've now noticed the Octasynth in the title. Missed that. Now it makes sense. Awesome demo. Could you record a guitar one?
Thanks for the compliment, I'm glad you liked the clips. Unfortunately, I suck really bad at guitar, so I wouldn't do much justice. I can talk to the guitar player in my band, I'm sure he'd love to give it a whirl!
Elevenstrings is correct that I meant the OctoSynth voice on the SubT. Those clips also feature the Xerograph Deluxe and some polytope/frantabit madness.
No worries, mate. It's all good. Don't put yourself out. Your demo already speaks volumes.

oog. this thing is pretty beast.
yah, it's got some noise, and i'm curious to hear how TayeDiggsey's fix sounds, but i like it a lot. then noise does disappear when playing loud. i was bumping it at practice today and it's ANGRY.

OK guys, good news.
We listened to your feedback about the Subterranea and have not only fixed the noise issue but have come up with a few other upgrades in the process. All Subterraneas shipped from September 2013 onward will come equipped with all these upgrades as standard. There's no extra charge, it's not a separate version or anything.
If you have a Subterranea that was shipped prior to September 2013, and you want to get the upgrades, please contact me at
info@ironether.com to get details on how to get yours upgraded. The upgrade is free and only adds to what the pedal can do.
The upgrade includes:
- fixed the noise bleed/chatter issue
- the filter control is now more responsive, with more harmonics available at the high end of the control.
- deeper fundamental on the clean octave.
- more reasonable volume levels (previously the pedal was way too darn loud).
I think that covers it, feel free to ask any questions about this here or by email.

Great, one more fuckin awesome sounding sub-octave machine for me to yearn for. Plus all the synth sounds I'd get out of it...
That octo saw sounds nasty!

I got my SubT in last weekend and it makes my pants tight. Get me a soldering iron, this thing isn't leaving my board.
