Son of Screamer with a toggle for germanium or LED clipping
The difference between the two is so drastic. The germaniums have a classic sound with a warmth and compression-- perfect for white boy blues and other things that call for low to medium gain haha. The LED's are much louder and crunchier.
It was also my first time using this larger wire. It's 22 gauge but I didn't realize the insulation was so thick until I saw it next to the red and black wire I use to connect power. I like it, though... it's beefy!
I love the smell of solder in the morning.
Successful dealings with: blooghost, starcastic, bronzetalon, theavondon, absent, jero, sevenSHARPnine, magiclawnchair, oldangelmidnight, and others that I can't remember lol
Here's a pic of my circuit-bent Grilled Cheese pedal with a 'possible alternate' housing scheme next to it - silly. Elwood has dibs on the next one off the block, but I will try and make more. Also-I will do the mod to your existing Grilled Cheese for a modest price if you wish...trust me, you ain't never heard no fuzz like this shit. I was as surprised as anybody that a crap ass cheapo Dan-o could be made into something so, um, beautifully insane. Oh, yea, and I've found a way to make it midi-controllable, too. More L8R.
I Want to hear this Cheese Grater ! but the link is inop. , where's the demo and what mods did you get out of it ?! , I'm sure being Lo-Fi to begin with it becomes a Beautiful mess !!!
If a pedal on my board feels ashamed, it needs to find a new home.
It's a Russian big muff, modtone deep-dive, artec delay, Wolf Computer, crybaby, and feedback loop in one. It started out as an idea to make a jam board, but then things got a little out of hand...
