I have a modded v1 and just sold a v2. They sound pretty much identical but the v2 adds the fuzz control (as opposed to a 3-way toggle) plus a master volume. Makes it way more useable as the v1 goes about 10x higher than unity once you hit the fuzz. I'd say the v1 sounds slightly better butt nothing you'd notice without a side-by-side comparison.Casavettes wrote:How does the echo dream 2 compare to the original? Heh it's pretty beat. I tried modding it when I first started building in college and I completely fucked up the stomp switches. It's now wired on ALWAYS because that's the only way I could get it to work hahahbombgraphics wrote:dude you gotta dirge that thing up
That's good to hear.. Guess I was weary of the significant price dropHoly Schnikes wrote:I have a modded v1 and just sold a v2. The fuzz on both is just alright, kinda ratty and fizzy but sounds nice in low gain settings. I prefer to feed it fuzz in most cases.
