I didnt get to really even play at an appreciable volume to get a feel for it. Once I get home tonight ill try to do a demo going through all the clipping mods in OD/Dist options ect ect

I was being sarcastic :)*

Baritone clip, settings are: Led/Si clipping, gain nearly all the way up, Tone is near noon, volume 3/4 up

Nick, did you find at max gain settings you were getting some compression? Almost like a fuzz pedal response? (little muddy and compressed?)

I already have clips recorded but as I go over each one, something is irking me about several of the settings as I'm putting the video together.

I'm gonna go back and try it with both active and passive basses/guitars.

at max gain in si or ge it can be compressed but it also depends on the amp. the led settings a lot less compressed

If there is too much low end loss, I'll probably end up flipping it. Or I'll run it low gain and run the Rat Tail higher gain.

I would have mine now if I wasn't in Canada. Maybe mine will be #3?!

I think it's probably just EA being EA.

I wish every builder was like Ryan and Tom!

I mean I have only emailed the dude twice since ordering the pedal in September.....once to make get an estimated time frame and once when he said to email for status. He has not answered either. I am def not bugging him. I just would love to have this pedal that I paid for 2 months ago or at least a little update. Is that too much to ask for or am I being a dick?

I haven't heard shit either but then again, I haven't inquired. Mark was cool enough to squeeze me in at pre-order pricing a few days after it ended so I'll just sit back and patiently wait...

he is just not big on answering emails. Not everyone is going to be me or ryan. i sent him an email with the links for the demoes since I know builders like to use those to promote their stuff.

;)

I understand that and do not expect to have an hour long conversation with the guy....but he did say " email for pre-order status". Hahahaha

I own/have owned several EA pedals and love his work so I will always support.

Not to be a dick, but that's kind of unprofessional. I can understand if a person is being annoying and e-mailing you ten times a day, but it only takes a second to respond to an email. I wouldn't buy from a builder that ignores my e-mails.
