Good or bad?

Super Amazing...I may need to really think about it. It has a ton of effects, plus the synth engine with no latency on bass...

Maybe you could start gathering a list of pedals and totals of how much you'd like to get from each and see if it adds up to as much as or more than the VB-99!

I could have sold enough stuff a few weeks ago for one but I took my board down to 8 pedals, of which I am willing to sell 6. I am trying to track down a used VB-99, which I could sell of my pedals to pay for. New with the pickup...$1400...

Yeah, I know...I have expensive taste often....
There is an older model, the V-Bass on TB with the Pickup for $450. It is somewhat lighter on the effects and has less parameters but may be a good way to judge whether I want to commit to going to the VB-99, or if that is good enough.

Yeah that might be a good way to go and wayy wayy less of a commitment. If you dig the effects it might even be worth the latency and saving $1000!

Struggling with selling a bunch of stuff to put down a deposit on a Nelson bass VI. I feel like I would like it better than bass, but I would have to sell at least my current bass and two amps, and probably a couple pedals to pay for it.

I had a Schecter Hellcat VI that was a lot of fun, but sold it since I wasn't using it for a band. Fast forward a year and now I could use it! And the Rusty Box i had then too. And... Oh nevermind.

On the plus side I was in a store in Atlanta today and passed up playing anything except one amp since the store guy was such a smug prick. Didn't want to check out their Timeline anyway. Jerks.

Speaking on the Single channel 20 watter I have: Well, I like it anyway. I've been told the tone stack is based on Marshall amps, but the top-end isn't quite as harsh and the bass is a bit more full. Doesn't have a ton of preamp gain so it's actually a bit easy to get it to play nice with pedals. I probably should change out the shitty chinese tubes sooner or later.

Now, anything bigger than the JCA20H I have no experience with, but I think those are more geared towards metalheads.
