Well, I might be selling my Peavey RockMaster head now since I just bought a Sunn Sceptre. Looks like the Sceptre has 2 8 ohm outputs. So I'm probably going to swap out the Eminence 12FLA for a Delta Pro at 8 ohms.

I might be interested in your 4 ohm 12" speaker if you make the switch. I can use it for my new 72' Fender Bassman 100

IT SHIPPED OUT LAST FRIDAY AND SHOULD BE HERE THURSDAY. If I use my Sunn head I'm more than likely going to have to swap the speaker out. If that is the case, anyone interested in a brand new 500w 4 ohm Eminence 12" bass speaker??

No, but I'm interested in pics of the cab.
Sunn don't do 4 ohms...weird.

It's a weird head, it's got an 8 ohm out, and then it says 4 ohm extension cab. In looking at the schematic of the head though, it looks like I might be able to use the 4 ohm output. I just don't know of a safe way to test it out

The 4 ohm output is a switching jack, so it runs 4 ohms mono in that jack, 8 in the other, and 4 ohms stereo. It's weird, but I have owned a 200s and Sorado that were like this, and read extensively about it, and that's just how they made them. So you should be fine. I feel like this came up on here before?

Yeah it did, I just have this really big fear and I'm babying the head- also I don't think anyone had any first hand experience which made me nervous but I'm glad to hear first hand that it will work out and I won't have to lay down $140 bones for a new speaker right out of the gate

ITS HERE! FINALLY! It turned out excellent. Only one real mark from shipping that I'm not too fussy over as the head covers it up.
I tried it out with the Sunn and it was a no go. Hardly any volume and I could tell I was straining the transformer so I unplugged it... I plugged it in with the Peavey and played around for a good while. I really dig it. It gets reasonably loud for being a 1x12, I was able to crank the full 120w through it on 10 and got some really awesome and thick distortion without pedals with the Peavey which I enjoyed.
Pros: Peavey sounds sick through it. It's light, and looks badass. More sizable for my room/eventually my apartment.
Cons: Sunn needs 8 ohms, and I don't have reverb without the Sunn....
So I'm a little torn on what to do. I really enjoy the tone of the Sunn, but I would have to swap the speaker for an 8 ohm one, and pricing the Eminence Delta, that'd be $135... At the same time, the Peavey sounds great, but no reverb. The Peavey DOES have an FX loop though, and is 60 more watts...
As far as the construction goes, it's really spot on and solid. No rattling, sturdy little box. Engraved plate on the back.
