No delay news yet, sorry! I'm still focusing on wrapping up the Cosmichorus before I get cracking on anything new... and I'm not sure if I'm gonna do a big delay project next or maybe something else, no real plan or anything yet, just thinking that maybe I'd like to work on something that I could get into production faster than another year long project, something I could make the pcb for myself like the Elements and Frazz, not a big manufacturing adventure.

So I don't really know what's next just yet.. and this winter will be so busy making Cosmis, it could be awhile before I get cracking on a new pedal.

I've always wondered what your take on something like a compressor would be. ever thought about doing something dynamic related like that?

Well Max, I don't know... I'm not a big compressor kinda guy. I think I'd have a hard time making a pedal that isn't something I'd regularly use and have very specific goals for and sounds in mind for... I'd just be swinging blindly with a compressor.

I could see myself working on some kind of a sustain pedal but it would be more as a sound effect, not a typical compressor.

totally understand. Comp's are tricky. either you love them or hate them. a sustain thing could actually be really cool tho.

Yeah I don't think I'll ever make a compressor or a wah, they're just not effects I use.. I wouldn't know when they sounded good and were ready!

I know you're a busy guy Ryan, I'm just giggly thinking about your take on a digitally controlled analog delay and I get all giggly :!!!:

You're like me. And I know loads of other friends who would say this as well. Although I like compressor, I don't think it's a particularly inspiring tool. But a sustain pedal, that actually forces you to alter the way you approach the guitar. You can use it as a creative tool, instead of a mask or colour changer for your tone.

Yeah, that's it for sure! Compressors aren't very inspiring or exciting to me... more a utility tool than a creative tool. I'd be excited to play with something that sustained interestingly though, like eBows and Freezes, I think that's neat stuff.

Maybe its just me but I would love to see a crazier fuzz box from you. Maybe two identical fuzz circuits so it can be stereo and when mono mix them together for weirdy intermodulation. I use a ss/bs 4545 at the end of my verb and delays and love it for fucking up my signal but it prevents me from ever going stereo even though I really want to.

Ian, I think you've nailed it there! A fun and interesting stereo fuzz would be a killer next project, something I can do the pcb for myself, something fun to use in stereo and mono... I like the idea a lot!

I think a sustain pedal with some of the functionality of The Cleaness added would be pretty killer. I'd buy one.

I like that idea a lot too! The Never Ending Cleanness....
