Before Orange I played. Vox and Fender tube amps oh and the little Gretscch tubes sometimes. Now its only Orange, and the occasional Vox for when I want to play jangley stuff. In the 3 years I used Marshall, Vox, Fender, Musicman, Carvin etc...I always had to fight to get that tone in my head. Within one month of buying my lil orange amp, I have all those tones except for just a few (which are wanted dead or alive...). And I can dial them in with in 5 minutes. My Ac30 did get me some great tones but it took forever. And I love fiddling with stuff. But I mean FOREVER....I would literally spend all day making pedals, working on the amp, changing guitars, and then Id have sex for an hour or two just to try and clear my mind. My girlfriend thought I was going crazy. She just kept saying "WTF is this "tone" your looking for?!?!?" and id say "You know that orgasm feeling" "yeah" "well thats it but in sound" (and get back to work)

Oh yeah and I went on a crazy pick hunting journey....picks make a huge difference..HUGE>>>

I've been thinking about an Orange AD30 setup with a 212. What kinda of music do you play?

I could have sworn I already posted in this thread.

Anyway, morningstaru, we have similar choices.

I've also traded with pumpkinpieces to get this really cool 1-watt mini amp (picture appropriately sized)

Whoah I totally forgot about that, I think I chose the best colors out of the other amps made at that time. :p

Nice Top Fuel score Sunken. Those things just rocketed in value.

I'll have a zero/ernie/echo coming my way some time over the next 5 months
