You could but this comes with all the syncing/inverse syncing/no sync options, extra mod stage setting, sine and square wave options, stereo, extra range control, etc, etc.....

It wouldn't be quite the same. Shit, run both sides of the Faye's Her at 8stage and you get 16stage modulation, fuckin nuts! This thing gonna make some sick noise.

Visible Cow wrote:Sorry if it has been mentioned before, but does anyone know how well the infanem pedals take line level? This seems like more of a studio effect than something I'd use on a pedalboard.

The Faye Sing has an internal gain control but that said, I've never tried it with a line level signal. It would be very surprising if this monster didn't jive with various input level options though.....

You'll be more than satisfied with a Faye Sing. Mine is staying put for sure!

This thing is actually making me consider flipping my poly-grace for funds...... :erm:

Haha, it had me wondering where on my board I can move my Poly-grace cuz Faye's Her gonna steal that spot. I'd keep Poly-grace, that thing rules so hard, huge variety of awesomeness and no longer produced. I'd miss mine dearly...

The Poly-grace is awesome.....but it just doesn't fit anything I can do live. I have so many timeline plans for it, for background stuff on albums.

I usually hate modulations....nay....LOATHE modulations. But the Faye Sing plays SO well with dirt. It's like...with other mods, it's a weird mix of two seperate sounds but the Faye Sing merges so well with other effects...like it becomes one. I'm sure the Faye's Her will have that quality.

Agreed with all that shit. The Poly-grace is one of my noise/drone/background track secrets paired with looping but it could get a little crazy live, dialing in all those settings! Then again, same goes for Faye's Her but I think I'll manage, maybe....

As for modulation, yeah, generally sucks! Beyond a Faye Sing and Polytope, I have no modulation and I'm running a shit ton of pedals on two separate boards lol!

When I had a polygrace while rad I figured I could comp all the sounds with my other fuzzes (fuck, 4545, test pattern, tgd).

That kinda factored in a bit, too. The Megalith can do a good bit, as well. Man....this Megalith is awesome.

Anyways, I should be putting the money down on a Faye's Her, tonight. :!!!:

I never had a good phaser. Occasionally played with a friend's PS-3...it got the job done.

This seems like the end of all phase. I'm convincing myself to fund this with my soon-to-be-gone Space.

OK. It's ordered. And I feel great about it.....not digging waiting on hearing the price of the controller, though..... :erm:

Yeah I'm worried about this too. I don't want to make a $400 investment which needs another lump of cash to use the full potential of the pedal.

Well I assume the non tredale version really should be pretty cheap and the the tredale version can work as expression for other pedals so it would be dual purpose.

I've heard the controllers should come in around $70 and $140 respectively assuming all goes well and no unforeseen problems/costs crop up. Ima get me that small one.
