It's cool if you're noodling by yourself, but if you're in a band situation, prepare to get lost in the mix. It was so bad that I had my volume on the pedal absolutely cranked and yet despite plenty of headroom in the amp, after I stomped it on, the other players who still had clean guitar, bass, and keys rang out while what I was playing with the HM-2 completely disappeared. I suppose I'm open to the idea that using an HM-2 with a t00b amp might fix that problem, but I have my doubts.

What kind of amp did you have? That makes a huge difference. Plenty of bands today doing the HM2 thing with cutting live tone (see: Trap Them, Black Breath, etc. etc. )
KHEMMIS. Doomed heavy metal. DECEIVER out 11/19/21 on Nuclear Blast.

GLACIAL TOMB. Misanthropic death/black/sludge. S/t debut out now on Gilead Media.

Good deals with: Ancient Astronaught, conky, crohny, D-Day, Corey Y, ryan summit, tons more here and on HCFX under this username
